1958, is deeply personal, inspired by the stories of my mother and the fantastical era of 1960s to 1980s fashion in Trinidad. This was a time when women lovingly handpicked vibrant fabrics suited to the warm, tropical climate and sewed their own clothes—crafting outfits that oozed beauty, individuality, and care.

This 2025 collection tries to remember this legacy, proudly crafted in Trinidad, layered with textures and rich colors, and designed to bring a sense of nostalgia while redefining modern Carnival wear. 1958 stands as a celebration of the thoughtfulness, creativity, and skill of our heritage—bringing to life the beauty of simplicity and the art of layering and vibrancy that women, like my mum of that era cherished.
